What types of payments do you accept?
Dunnes Stores is pleased to offer customers a range of different payment options online. The website currently accepts payments through Visa and MasterCard credit and debit cards, Maestro cards and PayPal, and customers can also use a Dunnes Stores gift card to pay for an order. Customers with a Dunnes Stores account can also save card details to our secure server and save time each time they shop online with us.
What currencies do you accept?
All prices and delivery fees are displayed and applied in Euro (€) for Republic of Ireland and international shoppers. For UK shoppers, including Northern Ireland, prices and delivery fees are displayed and applied in Pound Sterling (£).
I have a promotional code. How do I use it?
Promotional codes from Dunnes Stores are applied during the checkout process, on the Shopping Bag screen. Promotional codes can only be used once and not in conjunction with any other offers or discounts, unless stated otherwise. Promotional codes must also be used during the checkout process and cannot be applied or redeemed once a transaction is complete.
To apply a promotional code, click or tap the Shopping Bag icon on the top right-hand side of the screen. Underneath Subtotal, click or tap on Do you have a promotional code?, enter the promotional code exactly and click or tap Apply.
Can I use my VALUEclub vouchers as payment?
VALUEclub money vouchers can only be used in stores in the Republic of Ireland and not as payment for orders on the dunnesstores.com website. Use our Store Locator to find your nearest store.
How does the website’s card payment process work?
When customers pay by credit or debit card, they will be asked for a CVV or CVC number. These are the three digits on the back of the card, following the final four digits of the card’s long number.
Customers may also be asked to verify the payment through an additional layer of security such as Verified by Visa or Mastercard SecureCode (3D Secure). Completing this process should only take a matter of seconds or a few minutes if customers are registering for the first time. If customers encounter any issues at this stage of their transaction, they should contact their bank or financial institution for further assistance.
How can I remove card details from My Account?
Customers have the option to add payment card details to their dunnesstores.com account while making an online order.
To remove payment card details, log in to your dunnesstores.com account. On the left-hand side, click or tap My Payment Cards. Select the card you wish to remove from your account, and click or tap Remove this Card. The card should now no longer be visible on the screen.
I realised my personal details were wrong after placing an order. What do I do?
We aim to dispatch all orders as quickly as possible and it is not generally possible to amend the personal details of an order once it has been placed on the website. Customers that may have entered their delivery address incorrectly should contact our Customer Service team as soon as possible for further assistance. (Contact Us)
I paid for my order but haven’t received a confirmation email. How do I get one?
Customers should receive a confirmation email within a few minutes of placing an order if the correct email address has been entered into the order. Customers with a dunnesstores.com account can also see their Order number, Summary and Order status online through the website. Customers that do not have a Dunnes Stores account should contact our Customer Service team if their confirmation email hasn’t arrived within 24 hours of placing their order.
Can I cancel an order after I’ve paid for it?
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, customers have the right to cancel an order within 14 days from the day they receive it, known as a ‘cooling off period’. Click here for more information.
Customers must cancel their contract in writing to Dunnes Stores by post or email and should contact our Customer Service team as soon as possible if they wish to cancel their order. Dunnes Stores aims to dispatch orders as soon as they are received so an order could be out for delivery or delivered before a decision is made to cancel.
