Linen is a durable fabric made from the fibre of the flax plant and one of my favourite fabrics. Unlike a lot of things, linen just gets better with age. Taking care of your linen is simple and it will grow softer and more absorbent the more you wash it. I recommend you hand wash or wash on a gentle cycle in your machine. You can tumble dry it but take it out while it's still slightly damp and leave to air dry.

I like my linen when it's a little bit “broken in”. I don’t iron it but smooth it out while still damp and leave to dry. This gives it a more relaxed look and who doesn’t want to be more relaxed?
