Have you seen my new marble range? Marble is the perfect material for rolling out pastry; it retains its coolness and keeps your pastry nice and cold, resulting in a flakier crust for your pie.

The small boards work really well as cheeseboards or you can serve individual starters or desserts on them.

But really I chose marble because it’s so incredibly durable; every house should have a pestle and mortar – they make the best pesto and are great for pounding your peppercorns and cardamom pods.

My sturdy marble reamer is stylish yet practical for squeezing lemon, lime or orange juice- an extremely useful tool for any kitchen.
