At Dunnes Stores, we make Christmas for everyone. For the gift givers. The holiday visitors. The Christmas tree decorators. The fairy light lovers. The snowman builders. The cracker pullers. The hardworking chefs. The after dinner snoozers. We make it for our customers - one and all.

It’s a special time of year and right now, we’re looking for even more Christmas Makers to join us and create an exciting festive shopping experience. As part of the team, you’ll make sure our customers leave our stores with everything they came in for, whether that’s food, fashion and homewares, or something from our award-winning Simply Better range.

It’s all about delighting everyone with great conversations, suggesting new and never-tried-before products, and helping every shopping trip to go as smoothly as possible. And what’s even more exciting for you is that this temporary role could even open up brilliant opportunities for you to join us on a permanent basis too!

Hints and tips

We’re proud of everything we’ve achieved here at Dunnes Stores, and we want you to be proud of what you do here, too - starting with your application and interview. So, here are our top five hints and tips to help you impress us when you apply...

Visit a store before you apply – get a feel for our environment, especially when it’s busy. We love working here and we think it’s an exciting place to be, and we want you to feel the same!

Brush up your CV – do some research and make sure you tell us why you’d be good for the role, and for our business.

Be prepared for your interview – think about the type of questions we might ask you, and some you might ask us.

Dress the part – remember, you’ll be dealing directly with our customers so we’ll need you to show us that you can dress appropriately when we meet you.

Finally, plan your journey – whether you’re driving or using public transport, make sure you know how to get to your interview... and it’s always a good idea to arrive early too.
