About VALUEclub
VALUEclub FAQs
Are certain products excluded from earning VALUEclub points?
Due to new Alcohol legislation, from 11th January 2021 points will not be earned in respect of purchases of alcohol items.
When you use your VALUEclub card one point will be awarded for every €1 spent by you on qualifying products in a qualifying transaction.
Points cannot be earned in respect of purchases of tobacco products, medicines, phone cards, lottery tickets, infant formula products, vending machine purchases or purchases of gift vouchers, gift cards, saving stamps and alcohol products (due to new Alcohol legislation from 11th January 2021). Points cannot be earned on delivery charges or other surcharges. Points will not be awarded for items purchased for resale. Other products may be excluded at the discretion of the promoter or by operation of the law.
Is there a deadline for registering my VALUEclub card?
Customers are advised to register their VALUEclub card as soon as possible to ensure they access the loyalty programme's benefits right from the beginning. Cards can be registered online here or through our Customer Service team.
VALUEclub cards will earn points each time they are used. However, we cannot send out a mailing until the card is registered and we have a corresponding postal address.
If a VALUEclub card remains unregistered after 6 months from its first use, it may be deactivated and any points earned to date lost.
What should I do if my VALUEclub card is lost?
Customers that have lost or misplaced their VALUEclub card should pick up a new card in store at their earliest convenience.
To link a card to an older card number, customers should contact our Customer Service team for further assistance. Any existing points or any money vouchers due will be transferred to the new card.
What happens if a VALUEclub mailing is returned to us?
If a VALUEclub mailing is returned to us, the money vouchers enclosed will be cancelled. Customers that earned at least 200 points during the most recent collection period and who did not receive a mailing may need to update their address. To ensure the next mailing is successfully delivered, customers should contact our Customer Service team.
What happens if I lose my vouchers?
VALUEclub money vouchers that are lost or stolen before they are used or expire can be reissued to customers. To alert Dunnes Stores about such an issue, please contact our Customer Service team as soon as possible.
Do VALUEclub money off vouchers expire?
Customers can check the expiry date of their individual VALUEclub money vouchers by reviewing the printed terms and conditions included on each voucher. Unfortunately, unused vouchers that have expired cannot be reissued to customers.
Can my VALUEclub vouchers be redeemed online?
VALUEclub money vouchers are not currently redeemable in our online store. Customers do, however, earn VALUEclub points while shopping online once their VALUEclub card details have been added to their dunnesstores.com account. (excluding delivery fees paid)
As someone diagnosed as coeliac, how can I receive a Certificate of Expenditure?
Customers diagnosed as coeliac can claim tax back on purchases of gluten-free products from Dunnes Stores. For more information on the specific requirements, see Revenue.ie.
We provide all VALUEclub members that are registered as coeliac with an Annual Certificate of Expenditure free of charge. To add this information, customers should get in touch with our Customer Service team for further assistance.
Unfortunately, we cannot provide an Annual Certificate of Expenditure to customers that are not registered with our VALUEclub programme or include items that were purchased without using a VALUEclub card. For this reason, customers should retain all relevant receipts in relation to any tax claim. For more information, please contact the Coeliac Society of Ireland.
